New teachers who are just entering a lead role in a classroom for the first time generally have little or no classroom experience beyond TA positions and remembering what it felt like to be a student. And experienced teachers who have been in the trenches for a while at some point start relating to the old adage of “same old, same old.”

That’s why it’s important that institutions provide both new and mid-career teachers with the professional development resources they need to flourish  in their careers.

In these new courses, participants receive five or six weeks of Magna’s best digital programming, along with unit assessments and an online discussion board where they can interact with peers enrolled in the same course.
